Spirent Project Story
Spirent Communications, a top telecommunications service provider in California, came to POI in need of a major transformation. Their 50,000 square-foot Headquarters were failing to support open communication among Spirent’s employees. It lacked spaces that inspired creativity and collaboration.
Before the remodel, Spirent had more traditional offices, with high cubicles and limited space for collaboration. After assessing the needs of the organization, Pacific Office Interiors redesigned the environment to give it a much more open, modern feel, that allowed for spontaneous collaboration.
The new space consists of concrete floors with bright, bold colors weaved throughout the office. The building is separated into 3 sections, each thematically coordinated with its own unique color. With the goal of creating openness and collaboration among team members, POI protected sight lines by leveraging a fresh workstation design.
A large-scale break area now encourages gathering and engaging in recreational activities. Smaller break areas support impromptu collaboration and training.
Spirent’s employees have welcomed the new space with great enthusiasm. Pacific Office Interiors was thrilled to be a part of their transformation. This project was so successful, it became Spirent’s benchmark and template for other Spirent offices across the country.
